February, in latin februum means purification. I never knew that, yet have always felt that it is my renwal month, instinctively. In Finnish the month is called helmikuu, the month of the pearl. It`s described this way because when the snow melts on tree branches it forms glistening little droplets that freeze again seemingly dressing the trees in pearls of ice. How beautiful. February always seems to pass so fast for me, its a time to reflect, transition, in a way cleanse myself to fully receive the coming year and it feels good.
